Robin and her husband purchased the family home her husband grew up in, located in North Flushing, five years ago. They enjoy spending their time restoring their 1909 home to its original character and charm, as well as spending time in their colorfully landscaped backyard.
Before moving to Queens full-time, Robin was an Associate Broker in Manhattan for almost twenty years working at large and small firms. Robin’s clientele was as varied as Manhattan residents ranging from working with first-time buyers to selling multi-million dollar apartments in trendy neighborhoods like The Hudson Yards and Tribeca.
Robin credits her successful career in real estate to her ability to listen to her clients and the ability to help them position themselves to get the property they are seeking.
Prior to buying her husband’s childhood home, Robin and her husband spent at least one day each week, for almost ten years, visiting in the same house with her in-laws. This is where Robin came to find favorite spots to visit, ranging from walks in Fort Totten and The Queens Botanical Garden to exploring all the restaurants the area has to offer.
For Robin, Northeast Queens offers a truly balanced life – a multitude of places to enjoy the great outdoors, diverse dining, cultural events at places like Flushing Town Hall and Queens College, and the quiet calm of one’s own backyard after a full day of work.
